Question about Air conditioner condensation line

I have an air conditioner condensation line that runs to a swale in the small backyard. This is a townhouse community. Instead of running out of the line and down the swale into the neighbor's yard (as designed), the water soaks into the soil and causes a big mud pit. Then the mowers come along and get stuck causing ruts in the ground. I added rocks so that the yard people would have to avoid the area, but now the water pools. Any suggestions?

Dig a small ditch to allow the water to flow. Also, check to make sure the water can run freely.

If it's sinking in, you likely have too much clay in the soil. You would need to dig out the soil under neath and add sand so it soaks in without making mud. You could also dig out the swale, add a water lining then add small rock. That would help it to run on the path it was designed for.

Don't know how big an area is holding water, but my neighbors have the drips and drabs from their air conditioner fall into a large birdbath. Would that work for you?
