I use Cabinet Magic for my cabinets. It is a cleaner and polisher in one available at Home Depot. I find every else leaves to much residue on the cabinets.
I use Murphy's Oil Soap to clean the cabinets then Old English Lemon Oil to polish them.
I use it on just about everything, cabinets, furniture, anything wood. Covers all kinds of blemishes. Love the dark kind for dark woods. Have used it for years. And my parents who were in the antique biz used it for years before that. For some reason it is getting harder to find in the stores.
Sure you can Old English, or Murfays Oil Soap, These will help you a great deal, to clean and shine the area. Best wishes, J.
