72" rail, 35" open span, 36"door
I want to hang this 36" French door in the opening to our master bath. I needed to keep the light flowing into our bedroom from a window in the bath. And, we also have a single French door in our bedroom to the lanai, so this style works.
The goal is to avoid the shock and resulting scream when my hubby walks into the bathroom and my face is stuck right up to the mirror for tweezing😧
there is that 35" span with no header for one of the interval attachment of the rail.
see pictures. Thanks in advance creative and knowledgeable Hometime friends!

You really don't need a Header to install this, you just need to be sure to screw into the 2x4's behind the sheetrock. Get a stud finder to locate the studs. Just make sure the screws are long enough and will support the weight of the door and the slide bar-rail. Make sure the rail has a stopper on the ends so it doesn't fly off. Some of the manufacturing companies don't care about your safety and will include tiny wood screws just to save the company money. If you have a Lowe's or Home Depot, ask someone at the Pro Desk or contractors desk for advice.

Thanks for you advice. I may have to make new holes in the bar if the predrillled ones don't hit a stud. The kit did come with stoppers. Wanted to hang a curtain a long time ago, but the "stud" said no. Now it's all about finding them😬
