I was given end and coffee tables and they need to be redone, how can I DIY the table?

Lightly sand and repaint.
Paint is amazing to change pieces with! I painted my oval coffee table with a marble faux technique, and added a gold edge. Doesn't look like the same garage sale table, that's for sure!
