I'm Desparate for a natural cleaner

I have been desperately searching for a cleaner that is not made from harsh chemicals, but is tough enough to rid my tubs, sinks and appliances of the ugly rust stains we continue to get whenever our water softener runs low on salt or resets itself after a powerouttage.
would love your expert opinion.
thanks

Try using vinegar and Dawn dish soap, or baking soda and lemon Juice, or Borax cleaner. Might need to scrub gently several times , rinse well.

Lemon juice is acidic, and when mixed with salt to make a paste, removes rust stains from fabrics, so I would give that a try! I'd let it sit a few minutes, then rub with a soft cloth.

I concur with the others, lemon juice, baking soda, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide ( not necessarily mixed ) and dawn are what I use and we have very hard water that leaves stains. Ammonia works but is strong smelling and cannot be mixed with bleach without causing a toxic gas. Always be careful when using and mixing with bleach.

I would use baking soda and lemon juice to get rid of stains and then steam clean for a beautiful finish.
