To remove this stain: moisten the area, rub with plenty of Dawn dish liquid, and scrub with a small brush. Wait five minutes. Then, mix one teaspoon of laundry detergent into a bowl of hot water and let the garment overnight and wash as usual

Dawn works works everytime. My daughter had a shirt we washed in bleach and oxyclean and a small stain still lingered. So I dabbed dawn on the spot and worked it in the fibers with my finger and fingernail. I saw it come out in front of me.

Make a solution of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.

first make sure you clothes are dry. Then sprinkle with baking soda to absorb any oils. Let set for at least 30 minutes, Then brush off any excess powder and rub the stain with Dawn liquid and let set 5 minutes then mix one tsp dawn in a dishpan of hot water and let the garment soak for a couple hours rinse and launder as usual.

I apply Dawn directly to stains and then wash in cold water.
