You can stain them
Have you thought of trying to get some reclaimed bricks? You might try to source out your local masons lodge (after all, they are masons among them believe it or not). Or try sourcing a brick or stone yard.
Those reclaimed materials have to go somewhere. Sometimes you can even get them for free if you only need a few.
