Totally tile the shower walls and floors sloping to shower drain. Install glass block instead of shower doors, starting at least 36" or 40" if handicap issues, from wall opposite shower head, from floor up about 6 foot high to wall on end where shower head is at. Put benches on opposite end from shower head, don't block entry. Even if water sprays out of shower its tile everywhere, and will slope to drain.
