all vining plants need extra calcium. Put in eggshells or antacid tablets.

I purchase calcium tablets from the store and then crush them up. I put the powder into the soil around each plant. Also you can crush egg shell and place in the soil but it takes longer for the plant to absorb the egg shell calcium. Dry and bake the egg shells for 10 minutes then grind into a powder. Place egg shell powder into the soil around each plant. I have never had blossom rot since adding extra calcium to tomatoes or any other vegetable. Adding bone meal to soil is also beneficial.
