cut 2 pieces of 1/4 or 3/8 plywood to size wanted join together with 2 strips of old inner tube approx. 2-3 inches wide & long enough to allow the board to be slipped over the head to rest on the shoulders
You can go to Home Depot and get Great Shade Patio Perinneals and Hostas Clematis those grow well in Shaded areas.
Bare bones way to make a sandwich board: Two pieces of wood (plywood, particle board, etc) cut to the same size, joined at top with one or more hinges screwed on to connect the two pieces. You can add a piece of chain or rope or wood to keep the two pieces from doing a "split" and falling flat. paint or not, based on your needs. have fun!
