DIY Glass Cloche From Anniversary Clock

A glass cloche is a great way to add your own special touch to any room. The possibilities are quiet endless. Using the glass dome from an inexpensive thrift store anniversary clock to make your wonderful display is even better.
In our area we are able to pick up used anniversary clocks fairly cheap. Just a couple of dollars each and they come in different sizes. I had been passing up these wonderful treasures until recently when I had an AHA! moment. Why not use the glass as a cloche? Of course, you can find many other people who have had the same idea so my idea was not as earth shattering as I had at first thought but that's okay . . . I guess.
Here are some ways we used our thrifty find. You can read more on our blog: www.eveislestudios.com/update-glass-cloche

Alison @Nancherrow on Jan 16, 2014Great idea! Nice cloches are so expensive, but you can usually find these clocks at thrift stores for not very much.
