What's the best adhesive for cardboard?

Should I use spray adhesive to attach burlap to a cardboard box or would hot glue be more durable ?

Spray adhesive is best for a longer lasting bond that won't be as affected by temperature changes. For the best bond, spray both the board and the fabric and let sit for a minute or two before adhering.
E6000 is also a great option for withstanding weather.

Spray mount works wonderfully. I use to work in a print shop and we used this on all our mounting projects, including cardboard.
spray adhesive will have complete coverage so there wouldn't be any gaps. Plus the glue from the glue gun will show as dark through the burlap.
