This planter is 18" wide and 32" high. What do you put inside this container so you do not have to use so much soil? Empty water bottles?

I think some succulents would look adorable in it! Especially if you can find some of the trailing ones so that they drape down off the edges. You could also paint the planter if you want more color.
I planted some hens and chicks in mine when the bowl got a crack in it.

Make certain there is proper drainage.
It would be beautiful with a cascade of trailing lobelia & petunias! You could even put a couple of Geraniums in the center [for height]; make sure you put a good soil mix in it & fertilize it at least once per month to feed the plants well.
