Wasps don't like Hornets. Either get an inflatable plastic one or have you or someone you know crochet one. Then, hit them at dusk when they are asleep with wasp killer. You can also make your own trap that will kill by the hundreds, too. Here are links to all three items. Hope these help.

Spray the nest at night with wasp killer. Hang brown paper lunch bags stuffed with paper in the corners of any over hang. I'm not sure why this works, but it prevents bees & wasps from building nests in those areas.
I agree, I sprayed a nest at night right before dark, and once I sprayed one right through the screen as I am allergic to them. You might have to do it again in a couple days if you see any still flitting around. Then get the nest out of there with a long pole. I used Raid Hornet and Wasp spray.
I use Spectricide wasp and hornet killer. Spray at night when they're in the nest. This product leaves a residue that kills on contact, so any stragglers are also taken care of. I'm also allergic so I was looking for one that really works and am really pleased with this one! I know there are folks who frown on using chemicals, but I choose to not die from a sting. I've heard of hanging a fake nest because they are territorial and won't build by it, but haven't done it yet, never thought to use a paper bag! Great idea!
Thank you. My big problem is I'm 70 and short. I live in a mobile home a l looking from the correct angle I can see hidden nest layered under neath the the lay over. I actually don't kno what to call it the mobile home is 60x90 and im completely surrou thers no one to help me so I'm open to all options
