Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
We had some, but we had to dig it out.
You have to dig it up .We bought a house that had Bamboo and a man promised us he could dig it up and it wouldn't return.. he did. That is the only way I know to remove it for sure.
Some bamboo does not like to have "wet feet". trench around it and basically flood the area. Or decide the size you want it to be trench around that and fill that moat.
We had the same problem. Cut the bamboo to about 3",then dab right away with concentrated, not diluted, round up.have also used bleach, but ground then had to sit for a year before anything else would grow.
sell your house! Bamboo is forever.
We had a bamboo problem also. We cut it back and kept it mowed off. It did not get rid of the bamboo but it grew less and less as we kept it mowed.
