How does one display the air plants and maintain them?
We love decorating with air plants! Here are some DIY ideas to get your creative juices flowing:
We hope to see pictures of what you create!
You can put them on or in anything your heart desires as long as you can mist them about once a week. They are one of the easiest plants to care for. They originally grow on trees down south and are fed only by the natural rainfall and the humidity in the air. When we moved north from Florida, wouldn't you know that is the one thing I forgot to bring with me. Even after all the years we have been gone it is one of the things I miss the most, besides the year round warmth!
vibrant planters will brighten up the look of natural green air plants; use a few to refresh your desk area or scatter them throughout a bookcase for a burst of color.
Living Wall Art: All you need are some cool air plants. Place this art trio in a row on the wall of your entryway, or incorporate them into a gallery wall for an unexpected addition.
Hanging Planters: Take your succulents to the next level… literally. A cluster of hanging glass air plants gives off a super chic, whimsical vibe.
thanks
You would have to fix it to something that would handle being misted, like a branch or in some kind of thing like an open glass ornament that you could hang from a hook or picture hanger and easily take down to mist. You should be safely be able to put a small spot of water safe glue on the root end, just enough to hold it there. It shouldn't take much as the air plants are really light weight. You can use whatever you want to put it in or on, just remember that it will have to be able to handle the moisture. Hope this helps!
