Can stainless steal appliances be painted?

Absolutely! We painted our refrigerator with chalkboard paint and now it's a focal point in my kitchen, and lots of fun!

The surface has to be lightly sanded, cleaned then spray painted. Using a brush usually leave streaks

Everything is OUT there.......just go get it!! Spraying has the best results!!

When I was 23 and bought my first house, I painted an old refrigerator an oil base fire engine red, cabinets white, cabinet doors red, and hung red and white curtains. Loved it and thought I was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Got lots of comments on the red refrigerator.
