I can kill a cactus. What is the best way to nurture tomato plants?

    Oh, I just read about this. You have to plant tomatoes plants 2/3 deep (so for a 10 inch plant only the top 3 inches would be above the dirt even if you have to cover stems). Seems crazy I know. I'm trying it and so far my tomato plants are very strong. Hope this helps. TeresaC

      I used potting soil, greenhouse sets and planted in containers. The sets are getting taller but aren't flowering yet.

    You need to explain what your process was when planting the tomatoes.How deep were they planted?How is the soil?Did you rotate the tomato crop?so many questions......Please explain what you did so that an answer can be given

    I'm no expert* but: Are they getting enough sunshine? Water? I know sounds obvious but I had to ask. Some tomato plants will get pretty big before they bloom; depends on the variety.

    *Expert=former drip under pressure:)
