If you are unable to do it yourself, try contacting church groups or community groups in your area. Many of them help with home repairs for the elderly. Also ask your neighbors. We do all kinds of things for our older neighbors. I bet you have some nice neighbors or maybe grandkids too. Good luck.
Do you really need one? I went through 3 expensive ones in 15 years and was sick of guests breaking them, so I just took out and I am completely happy not having one.
It is easy enough, but always took me a couple hours and a borrowed husband for brut strength. Call around, there are services for seniors that are free or at least low cost. You deserve to be pampered! Get help!
or call Habitat for Humanity, they do stuff for low-income. And if you live in a rural area, there is a grant program to aid those who live rurally. I have also called the Mormon Church as they usually have youth groups who go out an aid seniors.
