I've seen this done but only with fabric. What will you use it for? TeresaC
Fabric paint if in good condition. Replace fabric if not in good condition.
If you're going to use fabric , I'm told spray on adhesive is the best way to go .
You can use fabric, old maps or wall paper inside. You can use spray adhesive or modge podge. If you take out the lining, and the inside is fairly smooth you could paint it, but a pattern would be a pretty surprise when you open it. You can paint the outside of the suitcase if you want. If it is a bit battered, it gives it the travel worn look. You can purchase or print vintage travel stickers to make it look like it has been around the world.
Definitely fabric - with spray adhesive! Good luck
