One of my very favourite things to do is create new uses from old things. With a catch.
Everything I use generally services a double purpose... it's decorative AND works hard at storing / hiding / organizing.
Whether it's an old toolbox or a rustic crate, here are some of my favourite upcycled ideas that help you stay organized and lookin' good while doing it!
Each project shown in this post comes with it's own tutorial... click blog link to see it all in one post!

An old toolbox works fabulous as a smart phone charging station. Bonus... hide paperwork under the tray.
This old crate got a new life storing some powder room essentials. Guests will never have to ask for 'you know what' again. :)
A toolbox on wheels becomes a side table with unique storage... nice to hide those remotes!
A floor to ceiling wall unit uses every square inch of space while creating a neat focal point.
Little cabinets grouped together become a wall gallery with hidden storage. The bottom one holds a photographer's dream...
No room for a kitchen office? Attach crates to a wall and go up!
