Lots of misting and keeping the plant hydrated. I usually wipe them off with a tissue or a paper towel as much as possible too.

For years I have been using Bonide Systemic Houseplant Insect Control on my indoor plants & outdoor annual pots, and have had NO bug problems. I also use it on my outdoor potted palm plants. Use as directed (it's a granular time-release product), and it lasts for 6-8 weeks.

You will need to re-pot the palm in fresh soil.Spray the plant down with horticultural oil and repeat as necessarySpider mites are due to improper watering.

Organically & environmentally friendly- use neem oil. Follow instructions provided on container.

Re-potting is always necessary with an insect infestation as they lay the eggs in the soil.
