The spindles & joints are loose. An estimate to restore it to its former self was astronomical! Is there a way I can do it myself? I'm semi-handy...🙃

"E6000" adhesive works well --try to use a little by the joints --let it dry well and then find a stain that will match the chair in case you need to re-stain the area.

I took my old one apart and used carpenters glue to put the spindles back in. You do need two sets of hands.

I think I would restrain or paint the parts of the chair before I glued it.
