I would just think find some REALLY GOOD gloves. Something to prevent the cactus spines from poking through. Hope this helps.
Get some rose gloves. They have long cuffs, up to the elbow, and are made of tough canvas.
Use long tweezers? And long sleeved gloves!
Rose pruning gloves. A good pair would be thick leather with long sleeves. Lowe's sells them. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Style-Selections-Rose-Pruning-Gauntlet-Large-Unisex-Leather-Palm-Work-Gloves/4565770?cm_mmc=SCE_PLA-_-LawnGarden-_-GlovesAndApparel-_-4565770:Style_Selections&CAWELAID=&kpid=4565770&CAGPSPN=pla&store_code=1538&k_clickID=f5f03e29-a073-4884-b607-71bde3cd4781&gclid=CjwKEAjwr_rIBRDJzq-Z-LC_2HgSJADoL57H-5VHk3n5sgZ_UNQcO-LwX9POvWoRgxUizT8RqS2X2xoCvCXw_wcB
Maybe some sort of kitchen gloves, like something a chef would use not to cut him or herself while cooking?
There are long-handled weeders for people who don't like to bend (who does?) or can't. It has a kind of fork at the end which you embed in the weed and then twirl the handle like spaghetti, enabling you to pull the whole thing out with the root. A combination of raking and using a weed puller is labor intensive, but at least not painful. If it's all grass growing where it shouldn't, there are herbicides that are specific to grass. You can create a mask around the base of your cactus with a collar of cardboard and spray the grass. Everything like this needs to be done repeatedly, so don't despair. I have a sign in my yard that says "I fought the weeds and the weeds won."
