"That's why the Malawi Project put out a call for donations of prescription pill bottles to send to those who need them most."
People do crafts, just Google or look at Pinterest. Here is an example of a desk organizer
check with your local girl scout and boy scout troops. when I was a leader, we taught the girls how to make mini first aid kits with them. very handy when we went on our big camping trip!
If you're talking about the orange-y plastic prescription bottles, pull off the paper (soak & orange oil), then I use them for dozens of uses because they are tinted to hold back light: seeds for the garden, jewelry findings, screws/nails, hair bands, blah blah blah.
If dark bottles, make up tonics or scented lotions, etc for around the house/yard.
Are you talking about the plastic pill bottles? I have a bunch in a oversized glass jar, with my change sorted in them. I also put the amount of change that's inside written on the outside. These are quick to grab when I run out of cash!
I have saved various sizes to paint and decorate for Halloween. I use various sizes of cans and bottles also. Stone type spray paints and embellishments are the key. It makes for a terrific looking display of witchy ingredients!!!
Always remove and shred the labels (personal information). You can use them for screws, nuts, washers, paper clips, spare change, buttons, OR you can donate them at your local school for the kids to use.
