Try pouring white vinegarr followed by baking soda first.Wait a bit and run hot water. If that does not work you will have to use a snake
Lets try this first. Remove any standing water. If a double bowl sink cover one drain with a danp cloth. Pour some baking soda down the drain then pour some vinegar down the drain. Immediately cover the drain with another dam p cloth. The pressure of the baking soda foaming should push the clog thru. If it doesn't use a plunger if you have access to one. Cover one drain if a double bowl sink.

Some have used salt in addition to the baking soda & vinegar.
When you use vinegar with baking soda use hot vinegar instead of normal temp. , I usually do this way hot is working with twice power, let rest both for 15-20 minutes then use very hot water with plunger as quick as you can . When even unclog still run tap water and plunger for while. ( I put vinegar in big cup and do it very hot in microwave and water on stove top like boiling )
We use a product called "Thrift". It's carried at our local plumbing supply store. It's pricey, and very caustic, but , boy, does it do the job, and quick! Melts animal fats, food particles, hair, etc. almost instantly, and a little goes a long way.
