If you don't want to put holes in the walls, many people use different types of command hooks to hang things. Some of them can hold some pretty heavy decor. You can use tension rods to hang curtains if the space allows.
For storage , you can use those box shelves with baskets or fabric covered boxes.
Tkx but meant what can i put on my wall that wont damages them? Need some color instead of dull white. Tried pillows, curtains but not the same.
I am also a renter. I build my own shelves - without backs. They are attached by L brackets to the wall, so there are just a few holes to patch. It makes the area feel like I own it, instead of renting it.
Renters wallpaper is perfect to give a room some character, and they come in tons of colors and patterns. Comes off easy when you move out.
