Can I move my climbing rose to another spot or is it to late

I have a wild climbing rose growing in my garden, because of my growing disability I have to move it to another place as a path has to be put down. When is the best and safest time to move it without the plant dying. Thank you

Early spring before the new growth emerges or in the fall when the bush goes dormant are the recommended times, however if you you to move it now just make sure it is done in the early am before it gets to hot to avoid further stress.
