Create a beautiful terrarium globe with embroidery hoops!
I glued 3 small embroidery hoops together in a globe shape with clear super glue. Glue them together equal distance to create the globe shape. Loosen the clamp on one of the embroidery hoops first so that the 3 fit snugly together and then tighten once in position.
In order for the terrarium globe to stand upright, I created a "stand" for the terrarium globe with a puddle of hot glue. I first applied a decent size glob of hot glue onto a sheet of parchment paper and then stuck the globe into it and added more hot glue on top of and around the entire base of the terrarium globe. Allow to dry for about 30 minutes.
Paint the terrarium globe with metallic copper acrylic craft paint.
To create a "base" for the terrarium globe, weave medium gauge copper wire around the hoops, starting from the bottom of the globe going about halfway up the length of the globe.
Fill the base of the terrarium with a healthy amount of Spanish moss.
Arrange faux succulents into the base of the terrarium globe.
