We added "grit" (purchased at our local hardware) to concrete paint. Not fancy, but clean and non-slip. With plants, wicker chairs, and wicker end table it looks nice.
There are outdoor rugs on line (bought one from Home Depot) that are not supposed to be slippery if a pad is used underneath. I haven't put my rug down yet and hope it will not be slippery, even with a pad. Is your concrete painted and if so is it a paint that is slippery? Check paint can if you still have some an consider adding "grit" to paint as "Rnebert" did. Safety first.
my haus was built in 1952. yup i've got the front porch done in painted concrete as well. when it finishes off flaking the paint.....i belive i'll just oil it.
