How do i remove dried semi gloss paint from my carpet?

during our bathroom remodels, we accidentally got paint on the carpet in 2 rooms. we thought we were going to replace them anyway so didn't do anything about it right away. but plans have changed and we are keeping the carpet. now we regret not working on those paint droppings right away.

Try blotting a little goof off
Goof off might work. I also cut out individual carpet strands with the paint on at different levels, so it doesn't look bald.
If the paint is enamel base, try spray oven cleaner. It may take a few layers of effort. This works on fresh oil paint.
I spilt polyurethane on my carpet. I used Goo Gone and WD40 It worked!
