Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?
I have been painting my walls and notice that my ceiling looks yellowish. Can I paint this ceiling as well? I'm up for any ideas
Paint as you would in any other structure, wash the walls, let dry, put down drop cloths, open all the windows and paint away. I would try a test patch first as the "covering" they use in most RV's is akin to industrial strength contact paper. You will be happy you took the effort in the end though! Happy travels!
IF it isn't contact paper/vinyl coating...it may be a clear plastic coating that was applied to prevent moisture build up & absorption by the wall by the paneling manufacturer. I would contact the company & find out what the surface consists of & go from there...you don't want to have wasted time & materials & have it peel off.
