Mike we live in the very corner of NW Ohio so you can imagine the crazy weather our deck has seen. It is 15 x 50 so pretty good size. I have looked into doing one of those new reseal treatments but they haven't gotten the best reviews especially the Rust-Oleum product. Every spring I do a pressure wash just to clean up the wood a bit after our harsh winter. If you do use a pressure washer do be careful not to go too close to the wood. If you need to do more intensive cleaning there are all kinds of deck cleaning products and they do work. About every other year or two I do a seal on it depending how it looks and how the water is beading. Hope this helps
