DIY Little Girl's Playhouse built with pallets, tin and faux shiplap! Completed for around $300. Full tutorial can be found at my website.
I began this project by sketching out the measurements and forming a plan.
I then used 2x4's to frame out the structure secured to the plastic pallets that I used for the base. The pallets basically dictated the size of the Playhouse.
I had sheets of plywood ripped down to 6" pieces. I used these slightly overlapped on the outside for siding and then stacked inside for Shiplap!
The window came from Lowe's and the tin roof was left over from a barn.
My husband helped with the roof and the door. I also had great help with the painting! Color is SW Snowbound.
I created the little window awning with leftover 2x4's and tin. The door was scored locally for $20 and the color is SW Romance.
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- Plywood, 2x4 lumber (Lowe's)
