Place a iron on patch on the hole in the inside of the pants.
To add to Janet Pizaro's comment, on the outside you can do some decorative embroidery or a cute patch.
Iron on patches work great! You could also get a piece of cute fabric and add machine washable glue to the fabric and attach it to the inside of the paint to cover the hole.
I would totally sew a cute fabric on the inside of the pants over the hole... adding a decorative edge would make it look finished. I've done this with red and white striped fabric over a hole, and it looks very festive for the 4th of July!
My granddaughter has some jeans where there are sequined patches behind the holes. You could get some sequined trim to put behind the hole. Hers are really cute.
if you buy an iron on patch at the yardgoods store, cut out a cute shape, iron it on and then sew a decorative stitch around the edge, either by hand with embroidery thread or by machine. Easy Peasy.
First stitch the hold closed from the inside. Then embroider something on it like a lady bug or turtle.
Get a small piece of lace and sew it behind it so just the touch of lace shows through.
There are so many cute patches out there. You could get a few and put it in a few other spots for balance.
You could leave the rips and add more. It's a thing right now.
attach a cool print fabric behind the hole
I buy the patches of many colors and match the color best to ur jeans follow the instruction on the patches. I then would sew over the torn spot and the patch. I sometimes add a embroidered patch to take away from the work done to fix the jeans.
