We enjoy watching the wildlife - deer especially - but NOT when they feast on my hostas and other plants!

Try 2 tablespoons of garlic mixed in a spray bottle of water! Spray it on your plants. It should not harm them (but you may want to try a test patch first) and it will deter the deer! Reapply as needed.

The smelly method is to sprinkle finely crushed mothballs over and around beds. The fragrant method is to finely grate Irish Spring soap and apply in the same manner. The deer definitely won't be thinking "and I like it too!" lol

I read in an earlier post here somewhere, that planting Marygolds ( probably mis-spelled, sorry ), helped a lot. Said Deers, Rabbits and such " Hate them. "

Try adding some hot sauce to the garlic water too, have seen many people say to use that combination. If it works, make sure to reapply to keep it fresh, esp. after it rains and washes it off.
