How do I remove old contact paper on shelves?

    Use a blow dryer and heat the contact paper to soften the adhesive and peel it off. Careful not to burn the paper. Fumes are bad.

    Try WD-40. If that doesn't work , make a mist of half water and half liquid fabric softener. Spray small areas at a time, lift, spray, lift, etc.

    I used the hairdryer and removed any lingering adhesive with D Solvit. Biodegradable and safer than goop off stuff
