  • You are such a great host! Think about when you visit a high end hotel or resort. I always have a welcome basket the the guestroom or bathroom with soaps and toilerty items they may have forgotten to pack. A supply of magazines in a basket or box. Also a variety of snacks and fruit either in their room or a little station set up somewhere in the kitchen. Have a coffee / tea / hot chocolate or beverage service set up so they can feel at home and help themselves. All can be displayed beautifully on trays, baskets, etc. Think of what you may like and incorporate that into your plan. No matter what you do, I am sure your guests feel welcome and comfortable and can't wait for a return visit!

Love how you want to make your guests have a relaxing time! You could also have a small jig saw puzzle set up on a card table or other surface for those who are not 'crafty'. I have always found that a puzzle is a great way to get folks to just sit down & start socializing while working on the puzzle!

I immediately thought of lavender items in the bedroom to make it easier to sleep. Could be bath bombs, epsom salts with lavender essential oil, small lavender sachets or even lavender linen spray.
