What color is the cabinet etc?
Generally a lighter color. If you want drama, a bold color. If keeping existing cabinetry, choose a tone that compliments them.
In my designs, sometimes using a bold color or wallpaper highlights a small bathroom.
Light colors and a BIG mirror or some small ones grouped together.
light colors and a mirror are great suggestions... We also have a small bathroom and something that helped was to store as much stuff outside of the bathroom itself as possible. We started keeping things like band-aids, etc that don't need to be kept in the bathroom elsewhere and it just felt a lot less crowded in there.
Recently, I remodeled the bathrooms with custom home renovations. We opted for white color for the entire floor tiles and wall because light shade colors give a feeling of serenity. I guess, it is better not to go for contrast colors because it will make the room look smaller.
