Depends how crafty you want to get! (all pics found on pinterest)
I did one for the hubby when we were dating that is super easy because his birthday is at the beginning of football season too. I got galvanized steel bucket from the hardware store and put floral foam at the bottom of it. Next I gathered a LSU and Saints memorabilia along with a six pack of his favorite beer, his favorite snacks , some BBQ scures and the hot glue gun. I glued the snacks to the end of the sticks and stuck the pointed end in the foam . Some things , like the LSU BBQ mit just sat over the stick. Long story short , I stuffed everything in the bucket with colored tissue to fill in the gaps and looked like a great big man substitute for the cookie bouquet lol.

Beer can hat patterns can be found online.
I would do a beer basket! Buy a nice basket from your local thrift store. Wad up newspaper and fill the basket half way. Dollar store has a great selection of filler to go on top of the newspaper. Now you are ready to fill it up! Find out if your recipient likes bottles or cans. Arrange the beer across the basket. Fill in with Beef Jerky, Nuts, candy, etc. Look for items with the Bronco's colors of blue & orange (?) on the packaging. Also add Denver Bronco beads and other items as well. If you are lucky, you can find Denver Bronco items at the thrift store as well. I do all of my craft shopping at the thrift stores and see a lot of Denver Bronco collectibles there. Lastly, wrap your basket in cello and tie with ribbon in the Bronco colors. Good Luck and have fun!
I second the basket idea! Alternatives could be making a blanket out of Bronco colored fleece, or even Bronco fabrics
