Paul M on Jan 16, 2014That is most likely a terrazzo floor, although with out seeing it I can't tell for sure. The surface is ground and polished then sealed. Depending on the thickness of that flooring it can be reground and repolished. I would check with someone that polishes marble flooring for residential customers as all the folks I know of only do commercial jobs. The polishing method is the same for marble or terrazzo or any other hard stone type surface be it synthetic or natural.Helpful Reply

Seattle Surfaces on Jan 26, 2014Ana, you should be able to install new epoxy over the existing if it still has a good bond to the concrete. You could also grind it off and seal the concrete or apply new epoxy if removing it reveals something you don't like.Helpful Reply
