Get two pieces of pvc pipe about 4 feet high. Get a piece of plastic lattice that is the width you need to cover the front of your trash cans. Zip-tie or glue the lattice to the pvc pipes as shown in the pic below. Hammer two pieces of rebar into the ground several inches for the pvc pipes to slide over. This is quick, easy and removable...plus it's weatherproof! The pic below shows a tall narrow frame...yours would need to be shorter and wider obviously.
Get pallets and then turn into a privacy area
A company named Suncast makes plastic ready-made screens for trash cans, etc. I bought one at a garden center, but I just did a search and found several different models available onlone, from Wayfair, Amazon, etc. The one I bought has four panels, and all I had to do was assemble them and push the supports into the ground!
