If it's ceramic tile take a hammer 🔨 break scrape up with shovel.
Are you planning to do the entire bathroom ?
Cover everything in the bathroom that you plan to keep, breaking up and removing tile is nasty hard work. Wear eye and body protection/long sleeves & jeans. Afterwards, sand floor to get it smooth as possible. You might need a thinset/float to level the floor. You can lay almost any material on you floor as long as you seal it to protect it from water.
