Need Pergola Construction Ideas

My dream project for my small backyard patio is a wooden pergola. However, one of the four corners would have to be installed directly on the concrete slab. (It would be next to the house roofline and screen porch roofline.) Any suggestions on how to secure the Pergola post for that corner without having to attach to either roofline?
