by

(IC: blogger)
This dresser had beautiful bones, but needed some TLC and a modern update. I used a custom mix of Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan to paint the body of the dresser. For the top stripped and sanded the top and then applied a mix of Rustoleum stains to give bring out the beauty of the wood. New hardware was added to give the piece and updated, vintage vibe, with a hint of modern. More details are on the blog.

Lisa Cuddy on Jan 30, 2014I can't seem to find any dressers to re do. I did find one a few months ago to use in my kitchen. I paid more than it was worth, it was a kind of laminate over particle board. I prefer to find some real wood furniture but it's really hard around here.
