Create an Easy and Fun Doily Banner

I used this banner in my Valentines mantle display. But I think it could be used for anything. And wouldn't they be fun draped for a wedding?
1. Iron and starch doilies so that they are reasonably stiff
enough to stop fraying when cut in half.
2. Cut each doily in half and sandwich between 1/2" double folded bias tape.
3. Neatly apply fabric glue to hold in place. ( I used Elmers school glue). When dry I sewed along the seam binding for security.
