Planting A Junk Garden Border 2017
by

I am a junk gardener! I have several reliable perennials that form the backdrop/backbone for annuals and junk to be added for a spectacular junk garden border every year.
Zone 3 perennials that are not invasive like globe thistle, purple coneflowers and Asiatic Lilies form a backdrop to fun junk and annuals.
Add vertical interest with stepladders, funnels on broom handles and garden signs.
Believe it or not this will fill in and not look too busy or junky!
Here is my junky border 2016!
More from junky border 2016! The only rule is short in front, medium in the middle and tall in the back!
