Best way to keep animals away?

Hi! What is the best way to keep animals away from your freshly planted flowers, nothing chemical related but is there a secret out there!? :) Thank you!

Sprinkle cayenne pepper & place cinnamon sticks around plants. Google plants that are deer & rabbit resistant - plant them around the flowers that are not resistant. Also, I didn't try this yet, but plastic forks in the ground prong side up is supposed to help (makes it difficult for them to walk on ground around your plants). You can buy clear plastic forks so it looks less obvious.

  This year I have a very hungry rabbit chomping on my purple cone flowers that I've had for years without problems from my resident rabbits & groundhog. In the past I had pinwheels & other spinning dollar store garden ornaments that my kids liked when they were younger. Last summer was the beginning of the assault but no too bad. This year forget it so I am doing everything mentioned above + I put some pinwheels & other dollar store spinning birds & flowers by my coneflowers. I have a lot of animal resistant stuff as well. I plan to add the forks & saw something about Irish Spring soap keeping critters away, so I'll try that too. Supposedly you can shed the soap or put full bars out there. I found 2minibars for $1 at Dollar Tree. I think bigger chunks would last longer when it rains. Good luck!

Go to the dollar store and buy a huge box plastic picnic forks . Now go stick them in your garden , tines up, in circles all around your bulbs or plants.
