Help w/ a step by step tutorial installing a sink and electric stove?
We are needing to put in a small kitchen in our basement for our daughter so she can have her own apartment space. We are going to get a stove from Habitat for Humanity ... as well as a sink... But we need to install the sink in a way that we can connect the water line to the bathroom on the other side of the wall.
I also need a step by step tutorial on how to install the special electric outlet for an electric stove and oven. The cabinets and countertops shouldn't be too difficult, but I am happy for any suggestions that experienced cabinet people may have. We plan on getting all our kitchen equipment and cabinets through Habitat for Humanity, but I've heard that some items are more expensive than Home Depot. So we will be doing some shopping around.

You might also need to check with an electrician that your electrical box can handle the load for another stove and heater, or might have to add another breaker or two.
You might also have to check that your city doesn't have a code for a basement suite, it might require an egress window for fire safety.
