your pocket door will generally hang from 2 roller devices. i had to fish them out from between the walls with a coat hanger opened up and a hook made. i also devised a lever to raise the door to the hanging ht. do the in wall side first, then the opening side.
Kathleen, get someone to help you if possible. Trying to hang up a door by holding the door up 1-2" off the floor is very difficult for most people. If you are alone, you can use several thin books to stack and adjust the door on the left and right so you can find the hanging hooks. Be very patient with yourself. Best wishes 😇
